I. INTRODUCTION:

ISO 14001:2018 is the latest version of the ISO 14001 standard, which was first published in 1996. The standard is based on the “Plan-Do-Check-Act” (PDCA) cycle, a management system approach for continual improvement. ISO 14001:2018 emphasizes the need for organizations to identify and manage their environmental aspects and impacts, including those related to their products, services, and activities. The standard also requires organizations to establish environmental objectives and targets, implement operational controls and monitoring processes, and periodically review their environmental performance. ISO 14001:2018 is applicable to all types of organizations, regardless of their size, industry, or location. TUV SUD is a globally recognized certification body with a network of more than 1,000 offices and laboratories in over 50 countries. TUV SUD provides a range of services related to ISO 14001:2018, including certification, training, and auditing. TUV SUD’s certification services involve an independent assessment of an organization’s environmental management system to verify that it meets the requirements of the ISO 14001:2018 standard. TUV SUD’s training services provide organizations with the knowledge and skills to implement and maintain an effective environmental management system. TUV SUD’s auditing services involve a periodic review of an organization’s environmental management system to ensure that it continues to meet the requirements of the standard and is effectively implemented and maintained.
